Technical and Maintenance Guide

Highly heat, stain and scratch resistant, Precious Stone surfaces offer high quality and low maintenance.

Stains & Spills

Cleaning solutions specifically for stone should be used to clean stains and spills.

Tough – Yes. Indestructible – No!

Avoid caustic cleaning agent like oven and grill cleaners that have high alkaline/pH levels. Products containing oils or powders may leave a residue and should be rinsed off thoroughly.

Should your surface accidentally be exposed to any of these damaging products, rinse immediately with water.

Heat Resistance

Our collection can tolerate moderately hot temperatures for brief periods of time. Direct contact between hot pots and the surface should be avoided.

When back lighting the surface please consult with your installer to ensure correct levels of heat are emitted so not to damage the surface.

Scratch Resistance

Precious stones are highly scratch resistant, however take care when moving heavy objects across your stone, this is to avoid scratching or chipping.
